Operations Manager Hereford, Herefordshire Full-time The Operations Manager will be responsible for overall management of resources to achieve planned production targets. Reporting to the Managing Director, the Operations Manager will oversee all manufacturing staff and supervisors, providing leadership and driving production output.
Duties and Responsibilities
Organising and coordinating the manufacturing of products in compliance with company goals and objectives. Establishing and controlling conditions of production in order to satisfy customer and quality specifications. Participating actively in standardisation, cost reduction and process review. Maintaining employee safety and morale by creating safe and efficient working environment. Maintaining proper employment levels - assisting in selecting, interviewing, and training of personnel. Supervising all production operations. Maximising the efficiency of production processes and ensuring effective resource utilisation. Skills and Specifications
Leadership and decision-making skills. Ability to motivate, influence, and train people. Ability to interact with staff at all levels, including senior Management. Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite / Excel an advantage. Education and Qualifications
